We stayed at Finest Playa Mujeres in a swim-up suite (Building 4), which was centrally located and convenient. The room was modern and comfortable, with a well-stocked fridge and great beds—even the sofa bed was surprisingly good. However, some outlets didn’t work, and the bathroom lacks privacy (no door except for the toilet). The swim-up pool was cold and barely used. The resort itself is beautiful, spacious, and very walkable, with great amenities (kids club, sports courts, spa, wellness pools with juice bar). The gym and lobby bar were highlights. The main pool was enjoyable but small, with limited shaded seating and inconsistent service—we often had to get our own food/drinks. Surprisingly, there were no pool activities. The beach is nice with plenty of seating, but there was heavy sargassum and minimal cleanup, and it was red-flagged daily. Food was average overall. Shoji (Asian) was the standout; Mexican was solid; Italian was poor. Compared to Hyatt Ziva Cancun, service and pool experience were better there. Also note the resort is isolated—nothing walkable nearby. Overall, a beautiful resort with great amenities, but inconsistent service and value didn’t justify the price.

Con: would prefer a wrist band to a card. Pros: literally everything else. Great food, kids clubs were awesome, beach was flawless while the rest of Mexico got seaweed. It was pretty much full the whole time while we were there but never felt crowded. They put a lot of effort into their gardens. Also, had the best massage of my life with Ingrid. Zero notes.

This was my second time staying at Finest Playa Mujeres. My first visit was about 10 years ago when the resort had just opened, and I’m happy to say the quality has remained very good over the years. The service continues to be excellent. I especially want to recognize Jeremías at the bar and Julio at the Finest Club bar. Both were very kind and attentive and truly made our experience better. The drinks are even better than I remember from my first visit, and the food was also very good with plenty of variety. Like any place, there are always small things that could improve. When we visited Domo, the restaurant in the Finest Club area, the air conditioning was not working, which made the experience a bit uncomfortable. Also, at times there was only one bartender at certain bars, especially at the pool bar, which can be a lot for one person when it gets busy. Overall, I would definitely recommend this resort. It works well for families because there are activities for children, but it also has adults-only areas for those looking for a quieter stay. I didn’t travel with my kids this time, so I can’t comment in detail on the children’s activities, but it was clear there were many options available. We would definitely consider coming back in the future. Please pass along our thanks to Jeremías and Julio for their great service.

It’s not fully Ocean view room , some time tower is not clean and cup has others lipstick on. Restaurant always tastes different even you order same thing at same restaurant. Staff - most are friendly, sweat corner staff always not have smile - seem not like this job may be too busy.

Our multigenerational family enjoyed everything about this resort! The staff was friendly, and accommodating, and the service was impeccable in every venue including housekeeping. Our junior suite was luxurious and so comfy and clean. We enjoyed a combination of the beach and pools each day...so fun! Food was outstanding, and beautifully presented, and it being all-inclusive made the stay so easy! Our gluten free and dairy free family members had so many delicious choices! It truly was a tropical paradise, and the amazing staff made it even more so. Highly recommend!!

We traveled as a family of 3 (my husband, daughter and 3.5 year old), and can safely say this was one of our best family vacations. For starters, the resort is beautiful and the staff were all so wonderful and friendly. Most importantly, the amenities for children were absolutely perfect. My daughter had multiple outlets to play: the age-appropriate swimming pool (one smaller one for younger children 0-4, and another for 3+, and another for older kids which we did not go to). She also leveraged the very conveniently located kids clubs that were near the restaurants. There was an active schedule daily (music, shows, etc.), and other amenities such as the gym were great and well maintained too. I would absolutely come back here, or explore other locations of the Finest resorts. Thank you to their staff and management for such a wonderful experience
