I haven't stayed at a hostel in quite some time but this was perfect for me for one night. The staff was great and super accommodating - I also really enjoyed the food (was actually surprised by this) and happy hour! What sold me was it's close proximity to the beach - all around great stay!

I stayed at Maya Monkey Hostel in Cancún and overall had a great experience for the price. The location is excellent, the staff are friendly, and check-in and check-out were very efficient. The room and bed were a bit small, and cleanliness could be improved, but considering the price, it was reasonable. I think this is a great hostel in a prime location, especially for solo travelers.
