"LARGE room, bathtub! LOTS of amenities e.g. all the toiletries, bath salts, pajamas to use each night, turn down with water and chocolate. welcome sweets. GREAT service. breakfast buffet was good but not as extensive as four seasons. Japanese breakfast was the same each day, though extensive! location: quiet, beautiful grounds, great views. close to subway. though not close to anything interesting e.g. shopping etc. though walkable to imperial palace"

Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Ginza

3.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1001)
"The hotel is right in the centre of Ginza, an upmarket shopping area of Tokyo, very well connected by subway to other interesting areas. Being in our 50s it was just right for us, enabling us to visit more outlandish areas and return to sanity. Plenty of places to eat and as we found with all Tokyo, safe and friendly. "

Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo

5.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (1005)
"Beautiful property with incredible gardens and very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent food as well. Only drawback is the location which is kind of far from the main touristy sites and no walkable dining option. The metro helps get to places but it is hard to go out at night without having to take a taxi."

Shangri-La Tokyo

5.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (551)
"Second time staying with Shangri La Tokyo, room felt like a downgrade from our recent stay at Ascott Marunouchi Tokyo (2-bedroom executive suite). However, in comparison, the service at Shangri-La Tokyo staff was way better offering amenities for children, both hotels were able to provide 2PM late check out upon request during Cherry blossom season. Stand out feature was breakfast experience at Piacere - the Hayama Egg Benedict Original Recipe 1894 was perfection!! Wait Staff Thu Thu was truly...

"Lovely hotel, spacious rooms with amenities provided, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. The location is good if you like to go out drinking, clubbing etc however it is in the kind of red light district with love hotels everywhere so keep that in mind before booking. Overall 9/10"

Hotel Niwa Tokyo

4.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (1877)
"We loved this hotel and would absolutely stay again. Perfectly situated close to the subway and was a quiet serene oasis at the end of the day in bustling Tokyo where we could relax in the zen garden or get a rejuvenating massage in the massage chairs provided. The only minor issue is that the gym is quite lacking with only cardio equipment and nothing for strength training but if that’s not important to you the hotel is perfect. "
