You could see into the house from the doors of the guest house but they put blinds on the guest house doors in case you wanted privacy. The iron was leaky and the plugs on the power strip that was left of the bed did not work. The location was great and we could walk to food/public transportation."

"The cottage was beautiful and true to the listing it was a short walk to the beach. We brought our two dogs with us, which was great to find a place that allowed pets. It was nice having a full kitchen, though I didn’t read prior to that there was no microwave. But that would be the only negative I have. "My husband took our 2 teen daughters to Lynn’s place this past week for 4 nights. It was spectacular! The views are incredible, and the sunsets were unbelievable. We sat several nights on the deck and just watched all the people walking and enjoying the coastline with their adorable dogs! The cottage is fully stocked and adorably decorated. The beds are SO comfortable! We will definitely be back, Encinitas is the coolest spot and a great place to see and visit the San Diego area! Thank you Lynn!"

Good thing I had a mini cooper that I could fit in the garage with a couple tries (though could have been my poor parking skills.) Wonderful location. Grocery and laundry within walking distance among many and varied restaurants. Enjoyed people watching and surfers."

"This was the perfect location for our family. The teens could come & go as they please since we were just one house off the boardwalk. House was fantastic too. Nothing fancy but just what we needed. Plenty of room for our family to hang out in the evening & watch movies. We had a couple minor issues but Mike was extremely helpful & quick to communicate. We will most definitely be booking again."

"With the beach just foot steps away I knew I would love this place. The cottage was perfect for our stay. The sights and sounds of Mission Blvd were exactly as I imagined. Everything was in close proximity which made seeing the sights that much easier. I highly recommend Josh and April’s quaint cottage. I look forward to a return trip next year."

"Overall, it was a fantastic stay at the Vista cottage. The cottage has ample space and is well outfitted for a lengthy stay. It is also located close to many north San Diego County attractions and was only 5 minutes from our son's place. It is minutes away from freeway access and shopping. The bed is comfortable and the bedroom had a full closet with plenty of space to hang clothes. The washer/dryer came in handy and there was plenty of towels/linens for your stay. All the appliances looked new...

"We were surprised that there was no table inside to eat on. After we complained, one arrived which made our stay more comfortable. Sofa outside and inside not comfortable. Incomplete kitchen baking pans etc. BBQ not working. We loved the proximity to the dog beach. We were only 3 cottages from the beach. If you are planning on eating out most of the time, this is a good fit."
