"This place is located in a great area with easy access to food and shops. The lake is a minute walk with lots to do around the area. The hotel itself is old but well kept. The rooms were nice, clean and included some toiletry essentials. The mini bar items were all quite cheap - approx $1usd so we had plenty of drinks/snacks. The rooftop bar was really nice- drinks were good and the food was tasty too. We had a group of 7 and were all pleased with what we ordered - from American to local dishes. The best thing about this place is the staff. They are all so nice and friendly - from the front desk to the dining and wait staff - they definitely helped make the stay more enjoyable. Tip: Using them to book the taxi made it easy for us - approx $25usd from the airport. Someone was waiting for us with a sign when we got out of customs. Made it nice not having to worry about transportation when we first arrived. "

"Hotel was in an excellent location near the lake. Staff were very nice and helpful. We were upgraded for free and our bed was very comfy. Room had a big tv and excellent wifi. The room was very quiet at night. We were just in Hanoi for a night before journeying on to Halong Bay and this hotel was exactly what we were looking for. They stored our luggage for us after check out as we were waiting for an evening bus. Highly recommend!"

"Walkable to many areas in the Old Quarter. Staff was very helpful answering questions and making sure we were getting the correct driver on our tours for safety reasons. Also gave great recommendations on restaurants, not tourist traps."
