「Lovely hotel, great reception and room service staff. Friendly and very helpful. We had a king size courtyard room which was clean and had a fridge and kettle. Bed was comfortable and shower worked well. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Parking available at hotel but limited or car park at the Mount School which always had spaces. The walk into York took about 25 minutes. Only small criticism was the bar ran out of drinks including sauvignon white wine. Other than that...

「We have had a very enjoyable two night stay at the Cedar Court hotel. A warm welcome greeted us. We had arrived early so we checked in our car and then headed off into town, armed with the map the receptionist gave us. She told us the best way into town! Our actual check in was great a few hours later. Our room was on the second floor and we were very pleased with it. Great size. Lovely bathroom....... Yeah....... It had a bath! The bed was so comfy. Plenty of plug sockets and USB port...

「This is such a lovely hotel, we had a twin room on the top floor. The room was clean and comfortable and had a lot of charm. We had breakfast twice and there is plenty to choose from the menu. We also had an evening meal, the prawn cocktail was delicious and they are not shy on the prawns it seemed endless and very fulfilling,followed by salmon and potatoes that was cooked perfectly. The staff were so nice and helpful and nothing was to much .The property itself is a 15 min walk from the train...

「The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Lovely to have a fridge in yhe room. Staff were very helpful & friendly. A lovely one night stay whilst attending a wedding party. £5 parking fee, not excessive but no mention about this when booking. Might as well just add £5 to the room rate and not have those unsightly signs everywhere. 」

「The hotel is well situated, it took about 15 to 20 minutes to walk to town, on a nice day it's a pleasant stroll. The room was very clean and spacious, the bed and pillows were comfortable.Tea and coffee facilities were also provided. The staff in the pub were very welcoming and friendly. We had an evening meal which was tasty and reasonably priced. The only thing to take note of is that the rooms are above a pub and music is played so an early night isn't really possible, although there were...
