We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. Everyone was very nice and attentive, they made sure we had the information we needed and that everything in our room worked properly. The hotel's location is great, you're near the Gran Via, the Plaza Mayor, the Palacio Real and Catedral de Almudena, the Puerta de Alcalá, and various museums as well as great restaurants, including MasterChef; you're within walking distance of most of these places and the Mercado de San Miguel, which is a great and exciting place to eat and buy things. We want to particularly thank Gonzalo, Jesús, Alvaro and Gloria for making our stay a great one, your service and warmth made a great difference for us. ¡¡Muchas gracias!! The 2nd bed was a sofa bed. Wasn't what I expected for 4 ppl. Only one bathroom .

I love love love this hotel out of all the hotels I stayed at during our Spain trip. The staff was great! The location is close to everything. We had a lovely room on the 7th floor over looking the Gran Via. We enjoyed the view from our balcony. Everyday we heard live musicians play their stringed instruments from below. It was simply beautiful. Many reviewers complained about the street noise, but I wasnt bothered by it in the 7th floor. The room was beautiful and the bathroom was nice with a double sink. If I travel back to Madrid, I will definitely stay here again. So convenient to stores, the Metro, shops, and restaurants.

Take a stroller, if you can! Many people brought in food and drinks, which was a good idea (prices at cafes were a bit steep). We LOVED the dolphin show, and the layout meant that you only had to walk a few feet before you were seeing the next cool animal exhibit. Perfect zoo!
