「We stayed at Gray Manor Hotel as a base for visiting Stonehenge and Salisbury, and it was in a great location for both. 「This hotel is nice enough but needs investment and to examine its pricing structure. It looks and feels dated. Everything was 'okay'. Clean with good staff, but the food and rooms were average at best and extremely overpriced. The most annoying thing for me was that a pint of lemonade and lime was more expensive than any of the pints of beer. That is simply wrong. I had an Executive Room. This just means that your room is in the original house rather than the annex. Again, it was 'okay', but...

「The shower hardly worked, it had a large shower head but water only came out of a handful of the holes and there was no hot water no matter how much the settings were adjusted so ended up washing my hair in the sink! The bed was uncomfortable and so had a really poor nights sleep. The only coffee in the room was for the nespresso machine, would have been nice to have a choice of capsules and instant coffee sachets. The pub and restaurant were very nice but I wouldn’t stay again unfortunately 」

At the restaurant, the server didn't bring us water like the others neither come back to see how we were doing. It is a good quality price. Even with those inconvénients, we would go back for a short journey. One or two days.」

「16世紀から宿屋をやっているとの情報が出ていたが，本当に古いホテル。1階はパブとレストランで，地元の人でにぎわっている。お料理は大変おいしい。ステーキお勧め。Fish and Chipsも衣厚めな好きなタイプだった。古いので，階段が傾いていたり，部屋の床が傾いていてクローゼットが斜めになっていたりするのが愛嬌。大聖堂すぐそば。ホテルの駐車場は無いので，ホテルから徒歩5分くらいのBrown Street Car Parkに停める。ホテルで24Hのバウチャーを8GBPだったかで提供してくれるので，それをダッシュボードに置いとけばよい。」
