The location could not have been better for our cruise. It is located perfectly next to a very historic section of the city and also within walking distance of good pubs and restaurants. The bar/restaurant was very nice and the breakfast was excellent. Checking in and out was easy and the hotel staff was pleasant and most helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Location was close to port but only a 5-minute taxi ride from shopping mall. The room was spacious with kitchenette.The staff was wonderful, efficiency, friendly . Having a laundry was super nice.and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Second Nature. It has a modern and ‘homey’ feel to it; my teenage son loved sleeping in the loft bed which was so cozy and comfortable. It was great having a kitchen and especially appreciated having laundry facilities downstairs. Check in was easy and the desk staff members were all so helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting comfort (vs. a luxury marble lobby type of hotel experience).

What a beautiful room! So roomy clean organized and well designed. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the loft! The kitchenette was useful. Even the view was pretty. Definitely recommend!

We only stayed one night here before heading for our cruise, but location was great and room had everything we needed and very comfortable. The only thing to me tion is thr parking. After booking, we received an email to confirm a parking space had been reserved for us. However when we arrived, we were charge £13 for it, which was not communicated. Also parking is at the rear of the hotel and can be difficult to manoeuvre as quite tight on space.

Great room with plenty of space for 2 kids. Check in desk isn’t always staffed, so took a few mins when we arrived but they were lovely when we did check in. Parking spaces are limited but loads of on street which was free 8pm-8am and. A couple of hours was only £3. Near to plenty of nice restaurants and walking distance to docks. Will definitely use again

We booked a room for 4 of us with breakfast for our daughter’s 13th birthday and we couldn’t have made a better choice. All staff members were so warm and friendly and nothing was too much. The room was very well appointed and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious and the hotel bar/dining area was both well-designed and comfortable. Great value for money, we were made to feel like friends and the stay really made our daughter’s birthday trip that bit more special. Great job team, we’ll definitely be back! Big thanks to Nick and Nat for their wicked senses of humour too!

Very friendly staff. Close proximity to the port. Okay hotel for a 1-2 night stay, I would not stay longer than two nights. The hotel may not have control, however, the smell of sewer was very strong in the room. Had to keep the bathroom door closed to prevent the smell from permeating the room. The elevators were very dirty, not sure how often they’re cleaned.

The rooms with the little loft above the bathroom were perfect for our 12 yr old grandkids to feel special and have their own place to hang out. A great idea for families …. The staff was great and the convenience of the casual restaurant was super good. Not a high end experience but for a casual vibe close to the cruise ships … awesome!

Boutique type hotel 10 minutes walk to cruise terminal 46 Southhampton. Excellent location opposite Queens Park, quiet. Comfortable bed, nice kitchen facilities, air con and bathroom. Slept well. Friendly staff although some are quite young and inexperienced. Slight negatives- tv reception not very good as stations dropped out, tv remote was filthy so I cleaned it myself, stairwell didn't seem to be cleaned in the 2 nights I was there. Didn't eat at the cafe inside hotel as I found a couple of nice ones nearby. Overall a good place to stay as rates quite high in Southampton.

This place is really cute. The room is spacious. Got the 3rd floor in the back so area is quiet. The hotel is convenient to walk to local restaurants and shopping.
