I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Even the locals in the bar were friendly. Tasty breakfast

Arrived at what looks like a magnificent place. Carried all our belongings and heavy suitcase up the stairs (no lift available) from what we could see. Room was uncomfortably hot, could only open the window a slither and was provided a fan that was as much use as a chocolate teapot. 10pm we had enough, we rang through to reception and the lady on the desk found an available ground floor room with a patio door which was magnificent! So, we dragged our heavy suitcase down the stairs and all of our belongings. Finally settled in the new room, to find a heavy layer of dust behind the bedside tables. We could deal with this, until waking up the following morning to ants in the bathroom and bedroom. Even though the patio door had been shut all day! Apparently a door without a handle on the outside is a perfect security measure too? Madness! Really disappointed because we had such a good nights sleep. But attention to detail in the room is shocking. We told the receptionist on departure and she said if we had informed them earlier. They would have moved us to yet again a different room....why not have the rooms right to begin with? I was not going to be dragging my belongings around again for a second night. Breakfast was standand. Coffee was cold, the man said he would bring us fresh... which he did - it had a lovely film across the top. This was my last tether and we left not long after. £100 wasted in my opinion

Clean and spacious room. A bit noisy because of roadside.
