「This was a beautiful, historic hotel. All the communal areas were lovely and the food and service was excellent. My dad's room was lovely and cool, but ours was stuffy and too hot on the third floor. The fan made little difference and we struggled without aircon; we were very unlucky. Staff helped with ice buckets but couldn't switch us to another room as the place was full. A second fan did help a bit with the overnight heat, but we had to spend a lot of time out if the room for comfort.」

「Nice charming hotel a few minutes walk from the main part of town (which is only a few blocks long). Only negative was the breakfast - very disappointing.」

「We had a bit of a rude welcome but this was rectified the following day at breakfast. A well placed property with a good breakfast. The bathroom was a little tired and the beds were comfortable.」
