「Room was lovely, just the right size. Staff welcoming & friendly, A lovely touch to get a free breakfast the following day. No issues with parking. Only 1 point to make, room was very hot so we should have asked for a fan (but it was 34 degrees outside!), so not even sure a fan would help!. Overall, would definitely return if we needed a night in Southampton again.」

「Although we need to walk a bit from the city center, its still close. The big garden is very close and nice to walk around. The room is wide enough and well equipped.」

「Check in process was terrible. We had to use machines and they didn’t open until the check in time of 3pm. This created a rush at that time. Only 1 lift was operational so that created another queue. Once we got into our room it was quite good considering what we paid. Location is good for the shopping centre and restaurants.」

「We recently stayed as a group at the Holmwood, and we all had a lovely stay! we found the beds to be very comfortable. Staff were fantastic, the hotel was very clean and they had provided extra fans to keep rooms cool and The rooms were spacious, however some of the bathrooms dated as well as corridors etc of the hotel.
