"The decor was so fun, loved the character it brought. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Very convenient location to train station, cathedral, city center and the gorgeous park "
"I was literally 6 minutes away from the cathedral and the main shopping. The hotel was very quaint. Breakfast was excellent as was the staff. I wish I had had time to use the enormous tub!"
"The breakfast was included which was a nice touch and the food was very high quality and fresh. The cathedral of course is well worth a visit, but possibly the best things was the amazing lardy cake we bought from a bakery in the centre of town!

There is plenty going on. The Cathedral is beautiful and was wonderful for the Advent Procession. There are lots of interesting old buildings with history and there are excellent things going on at the theatre Something for everyone.

Lots of quality restaurants to choose from. We sampled excellent Japanese food in The Mountain Spring and top notch Italian food in Grillado. Also you must try the Haunch of Venison pub, the oldest one in Salisbury.
"We had a great experience. We opted for some balloons as a surprise for a birthday, which we’re waiting in one of the rooms upon check-in.
Our check-in experience was personalised, with staff referencing what we’d done during the day, as it was noted on the pre check-in competed online, as we were arriving late.
Nice to have a city hotel with a pool, sauna and steam room, which made for a nice start to the following day.
Breakfast was great, with hot food made to order, along with honey from the hives on the roof of the hotel - a great touch. "
"Clean tidy and practical, lovely little indoor pool, games room could use an update but as it’s the summer holidays it is being used more frequently "
"The Gainsborough Bath Spa Hotel…Spa Girl Heaven
As a spa girl, I had to come to Bath, and this hotel spoke to me. The spa is absolutely adorable, and my massage? 👩🍳💋 Pure perfection. The front desk was delightful, and our room was super cute.
Bath as a town winds down early (around 8 PM), so if I came back, I’d do it like this: spa in the morning, explore in the afternoon, spa again, dinner, then bed. Highly recommend for a blissful, relaxing getaway.

"Staff were friendly throughout. Hotel was clean, well decorated and comfortable. The spa was fabulous and a welcome addition after a day of walking in Winchester. This is likely more of a personal request but since they have communal changing areas, bigger towels for those guests that just can't quite fit normal towels would be an appreciated addition - it's the little things! "
"We went for a family trip to Bournemouth we booked this hotel, and it was absolutely amazing. They gave us refurbished family room which was just perfect. My only comment is for breakfast timing is very short as I’m there to enjoy my time, also the food order for breakfast needs to be organised may be give Breakfast order form to your guests to choose what they want to eat, a lot of mistakes and confusion I have seen during my stay."
