「My partner and me stayed during the first horrible heatwave in June, to get some respite in the AC that was featured in the amenities of the property. Not only was there AC in the room, but also in the pub/restaurant area! It was absolutely delightful - we struggled leaving! The staff were so friendly and attentive; nothing was too much trouble. 「Location was on a busy main road so exiting by car was difficult at times. Car parking although off road was tight. A bit too far to walk into Salisbury for an evening meal and nothing close by was good enough. Breakfast was hot and excellent, many choices. Staff very friendly. A very distinguished property with quiet rooms, no squeaky floorboards as we have seen and heard elsewhere. A lovely place and would stay again.」

「The entrance to the car park is not very noticeable as it is just off the junction and I had to reverse to check it was the right drive. A reasonable amount of parking though a little tight for bigger cars. Entrance hallway lacked clear indications to rooms. Oddly, room 2 is on the top floor, and has low headroom in one archway without warning or padding! Room was very clean but quite basic. The ensuite needed some maintenance to make the shower curtain slide across joint in the track. The...
