"Staff were super friendly. The room was amazing and faced the bay and ferris wheel. I made use of the jacuzzi bath both morning and night. Nothing beat a bath tub soak after a long day of doing touristy things."

"This was the most beautiful and luxurious hotel I've ever stayed in. The facilities were excellent, the staff were attentive and friendly. My favorite thing about my stay was the room itself and the amenities in the room. The bathroom (shared shower and large soaking tub) was a treat, especially the aromatic bath salts after a long flight. I hope to return to Kobe and stay here again!"

"I stayed at the Orient Hotel for 6 nights. Good location, nice staff, good breakfast and clean. It’s on the harbor so have a beautiful view, there is a plaza by the ferris wheel that is a fun little spot and has lots of good food/shopping. There is a ‘Art and Aquarium’ near by and is worth going to. Enjoyed my stay there. "

"It’s an attractive area and hotel with a traditional flavor. Bathroom a bit small and more business hotel grade than one would expect with the price. Surroundings are good with excellent restaurants, but I found it difficult getting into some of these places whether it was because they were booked or too exclusive to let a new customer in."

It’s close to the local monorail station, but if you’re looking for the JR, it’s like a 10 minute walk. bought the room wi th the shared bathroom, but had some issues because I had tattoos. They were flexible enough to open the shared baths to tattooed guest during busy seasons, but you’re only allowed to shower between 11-3am which was a pain, but just something to be mindful of.
