"We expected a seamless luxury experience at The Peninsula Tokyo, but unfortunately the service did not match the price. An almost $1,000 concierge-arranged private tour felt under-planned and finished well before the full time was used, and the communication beforehand was unnecessarily stressful with repeated mentions of possible extra charges. We also had to wait for dinner on our first night. After this stay, I better understand some of the lower online reviews. Next time in Tokyo, I would choose a different hotel."

"The hotel itself is nice. One of the staff members seemed a bit frustrated with dealing with foreign travelers. He often came off a bit annoyed. The lobby looked like an airport waiting area since this hotel is popular amongst tourist. Other than that, it’s in a great location and the rooms are more spacious than the average Japanese hotel. Don’t forget to bring a washcloth! "

Higashi-Ginza Station is just a 5-minute walk and provides direct access to both Haneda and Narita Airports via the Keikyu/Asakusa lines. Ginza Metro Station is also a 5-minute walk away, and Yurakucho JR Station is about a 13-minute walk. Super convenient. We would definitely use this hotel again when we are back in Tokyo next time.
