"This resort is not new and some of the decor is quite dated, but it is very well maintained and the service was excellent all around. The rooms were also fantastic. We are a family of four with two teenagers and it made all the difference for htem to have their own beds (and the Murphy beds are of good size and quite comfortable). Special shout out to Amanda at the front desk for her attention. And to the Margaritas, which were delicious! "

"Room was large clean with a view of the ocean. Housekeeping was good, drinks in fridge delivery was good. The la cartes are ok, food is lacking some flavour, and if eating after 7:00 you will probably have a wait. Only Japanese, steakhouse, Italian and Manhattan are the only four open for dinner, with buffet. Breakfast is only the buffet, lunch is buffet, hamburger/hotdog/pizza outside by pool, and possibly a Mexican à la carte. Room service has a charge of $200 ($10 usd) pesos for each time. Less then advertised, unless you are Infinite. Pools are good, lots of bars. Elevators at one end of the property were great, other end had one out of order and other was very slow. General cleanliness was good. Overall feeling was small maintenance is needed, paint, and small items. "

"Felt safe. No bugs but 1 or 2 mosquitoes need bug spray. Food was good. Bar was nice. Staff friendly. Room was clean."

"Let me first say that this was a very first time that we’ve stayed at this resort. I’ve been to Cancun 20 times and this by far was the worst experience ever. Housekeeping was awful, the drinks were awful, the food was mediocre at best. The weather was amazing. The bad thing is a woman had drowned while we were there the hotel. Never let anybody know what happened. There was a lifeguard on duty that didn’t pay attention in this woman drowned. The next day there were so many lifeguards and they blew the whistle at every little thing that you did. It made it not even fun to be on the beach. It was sad that a lady had lost her life, but it was unfortunate that it was at the end of the neglect of a staff member who wasn’t doing his job. This will be the last time we ever stay there. The drinks were never consistent and was made with the wrong alcohol. The food was never at the right temperature or the variety of food was not that great. The only food that was decent was the sushi bar was amazing. And when we asked for clean towels, we never got them. Housekeeping only came into our room once and when we asked for housekeeping the other days, they never acknowledge that we needed anything."
