"The staff is excellent and helpful. The location is convenient to get to Hakone loop. The dinner in Cascade restaurant is excellent, 5 star delicious. The scenery surrounding the hotel is also very beautiful. Most impressive is the staff's outstanding service. It's almost like you are their life line."

"My three adult daughters and I stayed at the retreat for 2 nights and had a nice time. The breakfast was absolutely the highlight of our stay! The food was high quality and there seemed to be a bit of everything of everyone. The staff were lovely and helpful, always answering our questions and trying to help in any way that they could. We were a bit disappointed with our room. It seemed a bit tired and cramped for the price we paid. There were no drawers or cupboards to put our clothes in, so the room became quiet cramped for four women. The bathroom also had limited space to arrange our toiletries. The onsen is beautiful and clean and we enjoyed that very much. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but probably would chose a newer and more modern retreat next time."

"rooms were super clean, great view of mt fuji. breakfast was great and organised.located just outside jr nishima station, but not accessible easily from the shinkasen station. no connection or short cut but to do a 15min walk to the hotel. this would give the hotel better accessibility for guest coming in by shinkansen"

"The highlight of this property is undoubtedly the spectacular view of Mount Fuji. Waking up to that scenery was unforgettable. I also loved the private onsen in our room overlooking the lake, which was a wonderful way to relax while enjoying the surroundings. The apartment was spacious and well-equipped, with a washer-dryer, dishwasher, and a large balcony that was perfect for enjoying meals while taking in the views. The location is excellent, within easy reach of the port, Hakone Shrine, and Hakone Gate. However, there were some disappointments. For the price, I expected the accommodation to feel fresher and better maintained. There were noticeable signs of wear and tear throughout the property, and the living room floor was dusty on arrival. While the onsen itself was fantastic, the waterfall shower had significant limescale build-up, which detracted from the overall experience. The check-in process was not very clear, and navigating in and out of the building was more difficult than it should have been. The biggest letdown was the bedroom. The beds were not particularly comfortable, and the room felt quite uninspiring, lacking windows, decoration, and the sense of luxury that the rest of the property aims to provide. Overall, the stunning Mount Fuji views, private onsen, spacious layout, and excellent location make this a memorable stay. However, the maintenance issues, unclear check-in process, and disappointing bedroom meant it fell short of premium quality."
