「Having 30 + steps to deal with when handicapped was difficult I did not see that there was any mention of those in listing. I tried to call host but never reached them Although it has stunning ocean views: there was no visible beach to walk ( all rocks)」

「Hale Makai was cozy, clean and friendly. We loved being just a few steps away from the beach. There were lots of restaurants and shops in the area. The upgraded amenities made us feel at home. The owners are very thoughtful and put a lot of love into making their guests feel welcome. We would not hesitate to stay with them again and we would highly recommend the property. It wasn't an issue for us, but our only caution to future guests would be the stairs (the elevator wasn't working).」

「Everything about our stay was perfect. The location. The rooms, the kitchen, the view! It was just a beautiful home. The bunk beds allowed for my 3 teens to share a room but not share a bed. The closeness to the beach allowed for easy access back and forth to the beach. Loved that it was so close to all the restaurants and shops. I would stay here again f we came back to san diego. The owner has a great manual for any questions/ recommendations for places to go. But really I would just recommend...

「We were in San Diego for my sons Graduation from MCRD San Diego. We wanted to enjoy a great experience off the beach with family and our stay at the Ocean Front was perfect. The house had all the amenities that we needed, it was clean, and the view from our living room was breath taking. Nothing beats drinking your coffee looking out at the Ocean. Rick (host) went above and beyond for us when we had a mishap with important luggage and there are no words to explain how thankful we are to him. If...

「Really nice place on Mission Bay. Peaceful and quiet mornings on the balcony watching the sunrise. Lots of water activity (sailboats, kayaks, paddle boarders) throughout the day. Close to great restaurants, coffee, bars, the beach. The townhouse is nicely appointed and well stocked. Two parking spots were key. Never needed to move the car, everything within walking distance. Will definitely stay here again!」
