The property is absolutely breathtaking. The attentiveness of the owners and wonderful staff was exceptional. I cannot thank them enough for making me feel welcome. The food was delicious, whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner. Serenity and tranquility from the moment I stepped onto the property. I cannot wait to go back!!

The resort is a 10/10 overall. The breakfast and lunch buffet are a 5/10 to me because the food was NOT hot unless you got a fresh omelet or fresh pasta station.
However all of the dinner restaurants are amazing! The Mexican and Italian restaurants were my favorite!!!

Beautiful hotel. Not on the beach but a short drive in a golf cart to a private beach club. Outstanding service. Best hotel in the Caribbean in my opinion.

Clean, modern hotel. The pictures actually don’t give it enough credit. I could tell it was nice in the pictures but when I entered the room I was like ok this is kinda boujee. The bar downstairs is cutesy, bartender Elijah was 10/10. Restaurant and groceries near by.

Overall my experience was great.
I did not like that my room was filled with bugs & dirty. My air also did not work and they worked on my room for hours and they couldn't give me a different room.
They did fix the problems.

Great Property to stay at was welcomed in at check in by Francois, very friendly and professional young gentleman!
The Staff was great so Great that they are worth mentioning by name: Carlos,Jeremias,Samuel,Vianca,Santos were above average professional and courteous at their job.
The only thing I did not like about the hotel was that their international TV channels did not work properly because of internet issues! However, I'm pretty sure this will be addressed in the near future, and most people...

It’s a very unique spot to experience not only the local culture but people from all around the globe. Management was incredible, very attentive, flexible, kind and informative. My husband and I stayed only one night but we’ll like to come back with our kids so that they may also enjoy the unique experience.

No upgrade even mentioned. Room internally was very nice but I paid for initial room upgrade and we could not see the pool through the trees. Perhaps just a peek seen. Discussed this with concierge at room intro and told him I was not happy. He did not help. So I did not get what I paid for at all. Concierge while friendly told us someone was to pick us up for birthday dinner on the beach (260$) prior to sunset. That did not happen so after 15 minutes we went to lobby trying to find where our...

Our first trip to DR and the Westin was a great choice. Beautiful property on the beach, perfectly maintained, friendly staff, great restaurants to choose from and drinks and food reasonably priced. We would recommend and go back. We had a great time, better than Cabo and Maui which are getting crowded and more expensive.

The Property was great, you always see staff working in every area like the garden, the pool and around the the hotel area. The restaurants are always clean lots and lots of room for everyone to sit and enjoy even near the pool. Property is great! Our welcoming experience was also amazing, everyone had an smile and ready to assist.

The service was nothing like I've experienced before, I felt like a king at the resort. There were plenty of activies at the resort. Plus, you can book events outside the resort and most provide transportation to and from the event. The rooms are very nice and modern with updated light and controls. I would recommend getting a room with a swimout pool becuase the pool close at 6 PM. With the swimout pool, you can hang in the pool any time.
Im definitely going back!

I traveled to Bayahibe for scuba diving, and hotel el Pulpo was 10 minutes away from the beach by walking. There is a shortcut to scuba caribe where I did my dive and excursion. I had an awesome stay, all the staff was super nice and I didn't have any problems. Especially the front desk lady was very kind serving fresh coffee every morning.
There is a local Dominican food restaurant around the corner open for lunch. It's pretty cheap, but it's for locals, so eat at your own risk. There is an...
