Wonderful experience especially our butler Jose made things run smoothly. He made our reservations even on his day off and made sure we had our fridge stocked. It really allowed us to relax and feel taken care of. Maintenance on resort needs a bit more attention. Water leaked from our shower into the main room through the wall which was concerning.. the staff and our housekeeper made us feel well looked after

We stayed in the adults-only El Beso section at Ocean El Faro in Punta Cana and enjoyed a solid, relaxed no-kids vibe—mostly.The adults-only lobby was fantastic: elegant, spacious, and welcoming with comfy seating. The resort isn't overly massive; fewer rooms in El Beso gave it an intimate, less-crowded feel, with easy access to quieter spots.Grounds are attractive—nice landscaping, multiple pools (El Beso pool a highlight), beach access. Adults-only perks like dedicated bars and areas kept things peaceful.Rooms were functional but dated: some wear, nothing luxurious, though AC and basics worked fine. They could use a refresh.Biggest downside: the lounge chair situation. Had to wake at 5am for prime pool/beach spots; towel-reserving was rampant despite policy. It turned relaxing mornings into a hassle—common in Punta Cana, but frustrating here.Dining was convenient: most restaurants along a promenade with great themed décors. Options included Japanese (our favorite), Mexican, French, Italian, American, steakhouse. Food was decent overall. Service friendly, though waits for food/drinks happened—staff still worked hard.Gift shop had everything needed. Coffee house offered wonderful brews, even if lines hit 45 mins at peak.Standout staff: Jose our butler was phenomenal—top communication and effort. Naomi at the pool bar: friendly, fast, made days easy. Carlos at El Beso lobby bar: fun gentleman; resort's lucky to have him.Overall, El Beso delivered a laid-back escape.

Our 4th trip to El Beso at Ocean El Faro was fantastic. The food is always excellent. We opted for the buffet 6/7 nights as we’ve tried all of the restaurants and for our dietary preferences (higher protein) the buffet was our main choice. SO many options and fresh food. We had breakfast every morning at Pez Dama on the adults only side. Fantastic food as well. We made our own yogurt bowls, had fresh honey comb and delicious fruits. We aren’t big drinkers at all, maybe 1 cocktail at night. We were very happy with the Fresca Bar to enjoy fresh pressed juices! We snagged some bananas from the buffet and some muffins to go from Mike’s Coffee to enjoy in the evening. As this is our 4th time here, we’re pretty well versed in everything however to our surprise, booking with Expedia got us the use of a butler which we weren’t expecting. The turn down service was nice, but to be honest we could’ve done the things the butler said he’d do 10x faster ourselves. We aren’t very high maintenance so found this service lackluster just needing some water here and there. My one and only complaint this vacation was the gym! Holy moly. As we attend the gym everyday, the kids from the tennis tournament were also utilizing the space making it extremely crowded, coaches saving equipment until the athletes got there. It wasn’t great. I’d suggest the athletes have their own separate fitness facility and leave the gym for hotel members. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay wonderful!

The rooms need a lot of work. Our room had paint chips falling from the ceiling and a window that was not attached to the wall. Resort is rated a 5 star but is more of a 3 star. Staff keep to themselves and food is just ok.

Loved the rooms and resort overall, the staff are very hard working and super nice. We had Reinaldo Sanchez as our guest experience specialist. He is the greatest always gave us an itinerary of all the activities for the days of our stay and also made all the reservations for the restaurants. The rooms clean and the bartenders 100 out of 10 as well as the food were really good and a lot of variety. Will definitely go again and definitely 100 percent recommend.

Such a wonderful vacation! The resort is kept very clean. I love all the cats and the doggy that hang around. You definitely don’t go hungry, lots of food to choose from. That staff are all amazing, especially Reinaldo Sánchez, guest experience specialist. He was just a quick text away to answer any questions and he was able to make all our dinner reservations for our group of 8 for the week. He definitely goes above and beyond to make sure you are having a good time!

The pools were clean and the grounds around the resort were very clean and well kept. Staff at pools engaged with guests. Service workers were attentive and respectful. We had a rooftop room and everything, including the jetted tub on the roof, worked great. The A/C kept our room at the perfect temperature and dampness was never an issue. Housekeeping and mini bar service were timely; always respecting whether we had Do Not Disturb up, or not.

We just returned from the El Beso at Ocean El Faro and the stay was nothing short of amazing!The staff were all great. Suhaya at the lobby bar and the staff at Mike’s coffee shop and restaurant were all fabulous. The person who stands out the most was our concierge CARLOS ENRIQUE. Even before the trip started he sent us his information, on our first day he introduced himself and was an absolute gem throughout the entire trip; he got us amazing reservations at all of the À la Carte restaurants. When our room key accidentally stopped walking he was readily available to assist us. He would also send us the daily schedules of the resorts activities. Also, reserved our airport transfers. He made our vacation quite easy and seamless. The restaurant food was great and the pool bar staff were friendly and kept the drinks coming. A fabulous resort with amazing staff who always makes sure you were happy and you had whatever you needed. Thank you Carlos and staff for the best vacation yet!
