The hotel itself was well maintained and the private open-air onsen (hot spring) in the room cannot be beat. The staff were helpful and courteous, and the dinner and breakfast menu was delightfully delicious. Overall it was a very memorable stay, unfortunately it was raining during our stay so we didn't leave the hotel to explore the surrounding area. The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing getaway albeit a bit on the pricey side. I would recommend this hotel for a...

A Truly Authentic Japanese Experience – Simply Unforgettable! Staying at Hotel Nanpuso was like stepping into the heart of traditional Japan. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in authentic cultural touches — the beautiful architecture, serene surroundings, and the warm hospitality. The traditional yukata clothing provided made the experience feel even more special and immersive. The hot spring (onsen) was absolutely relaxing, and the setting was peaceful and beautifully maintained....

The taxi has an extra 110 JPY fee for coming to the hotel to pick up guests. There are a few other transportation options but we did not try. The...
