"While this stay lacks in the polished stays of a fancy resort it makes up ten-fold in charm and personality. This was the coziest most wonderful stay we've had on our trip yet and we'll definitely be back. Located a mere 4 minute walk from the train station and a 1 minute from the beach this was the low key break we needed. The stay was clean with great amenities. "The Villa was new and up scale and roomy. It was super clean and great instruction on how to deal with the needs for our 2 days stay. The bedrooms was good size with comfortable Queens size bed and not those twin size. The beds were great and firm enough you know they weren't cheap material. The amenities were great with the sauna room was clean and equipped with sauna towel along with the private hot tub in the unit and no need to share. The balcony was great for BBQ with family and friends....

"This was hands down the best stay we had during our Japan trip! The staff was so lovely, professional, and accommodating. We got there early in the day and were able to store our luggage while we toured Hakone prior to check-in. The entire property oozes peace and luxury. Our room was so comfortable. We took advantage of half-board and the meals and service were exceptional. Hakone doesn’t have many options for food, so this actually seemed to make the most sense to us and I’m so glad we did it! My partner and I both took advantage of the spa - massages and facials - and it was so relaxing and high quality. The onsens were nice, but having easy access to private onsens was top-notch. I cannot recommend this incredible hotel enough!"

"Booked only for one night. Wished we would have booked for another stay. Beautiful property. Utilize the free shuttle available from the train station to the hotel. Don’t attempt to walk especially if carrying luggage as there are steep hills. You will be asked to remove your shoes before entering hotel so make sure you have decent socks on as this is a shoeless property."

"I was wowed. To be honest, pictures don’t do this justice. It’s a place you can get lost in- in the most beautiful way possible. It is the most scenic stay I’ve experienced to date. It inspires poetry and deep thought. It was my brilliant oasis. Thank you! My only qualms were the food- it was bit underwhelming for the price point; however, the dining view, opulence and careful care from staff made up for it a bit."
