"Where do I begin? We have never stayed in a more fabulous hotel in our lives- and we are old and travel a lot. Immaculate, gorgeous, fabulous breakfast. But a special shoutout to the staff! Always smiling, welcoming, helpful. A special acknowledgement to the lovely Linda who gave us excellent dinner recommendations and Alessandro who went above and beyond in all aspects. (And I have a major crush on him too, don’t tell my husband!😁. I can’t wait to come back one day. Well done Hotel Gabrielli!...

"This is a must stay if you’re going to Venice and seeking a luxury hotel. The rooms are beautiful, as well as the hotel overall. There is a courtyard that felt so indulgent after a day of exploring. The location allowed us to pop in and out and explore at our own pace. While all of that was excellent, the main reason you should stay here is because of the service. Everyone was attentive and truly made our stay a 5-star one. From Ivan, Maria, Filipo and Buba as well as the rest of the staff...

"Very comfortable and clean room - the tea/coffee making facilities & fridge were a welcome touch. Peaceful location away from the busy tourist areas and yet only a 10 min walk from Piazza San Marco. "Access to the property is a little bit unusual in that you need to check in at a hotel first and then move over to the actual apartment, but instructions were very clear and easy to follow and the staff at the hotel were very welcoming and helpful. Apartment is exactly as described, very clean and quiet, and in an area of Venice very easily walkable to the major tourist areas while still being very calm and quiet. Exactly what we needed!"

"Stayed as a couple and the location was perfect . On the doorstep of a small piazza with a greay vibe, restaurants, a bar, gelato and shopping. 4 min walk from the water bus. The property is like the top floor of an apartment. Need to walk up the stairs to get there as i assume most properties in venice are like that if they are listed buildings. Small shower but the room was very comfortable, lots of light in the apartment. "

"Ca' Valeri is a wonderful little family-run hotel, beautifully located right in the center, yet tucked away in a completely quiet alley. So you're close to several major attractions, but can still sleep peacefully at night. The only small issue is if you take this room Make sure is the main hotel phone number handy in your invoice so you can get the card to go to your room. Expedia do not specify the contact well.. "Wonderful stay! Rooms are super clean, service and communication on how to get to the hotel when you arrive in Venice is awesome! The small breakfast with coffee, juice and a croissant is a beautiful touch. Great location away from the action but close enough that you’re only a few minutes walk. 3 floors to carry suitcases…not an issue for us and hey it’s Venice so best know about this rather than being disappointed when you arrive! Highly recommended!"

"Very close to St. Mark's Basilica, and yet worlds away, Charming House IQs is a lovely apartment to stay in when visiting Venice. The staff was incredibly helpful in helping to arrange arrival and departure, and helpful with suggestions. The apartment's furnishings are a little dated, but still very clean and comfortable."
