「Lovely location by the lock, as soon as we entered the bar area to collect key welcoming environment we made enquiries about the area as considering relocating everyone was so helpful.

「The trip we had was great, the hotel had beautiful grounds and magnificent rooms. What an idyllic location to sit with your loved one and I could not complement the food or the restaurant any more. Staff were helpful and could not do enough to help. Would absolutely visit again.」

「Room was fantastic, spacious, clean, quiet (apart from a fire alarm but that probably doesn't happen very often) and customer service was exceptional. There was some work being done in the corridor but that did not impact our stay. We were meeting family and exploring the area and found it was close to the major roads. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of lovely food choices in the pub attached. I would recommend this hotel. 」
「Nice clean hotel with a nice ambiance. We only stayed one night as easy walk to town to see the boat illuminations which was perfect. We had a room at the top floor. Compact but practical for the price and one night. 」
「The inn/pub was well attended with nice staff. Our only complaint was that there wasn't any salad option on the menu...not even the old caesar in a bag. As it was a work stay, one can only eat so many meat and chips.」

「Lovely pub with nice rooms and a great breakfast! Friendly staff. Nice seating area in the back outside near the car park. It is close to Chatsworth House so we were sble to drive in to the country fair in 15 mins. 」
