「We had a lovely short stay, staff were awesome」

「We stayed at the Peak Hotel for 3 nights & unfortunately did not have a positive experience. While the property is exactly as advertised—a charming historic building with a pub downstairs—it feels more like a pub with a few guest rooms than a traditional hotel. After check-in, there was very little interaction or hospitality from staff. Our biggest issue was Room #1, which is located directly beside the pub’s outdoor patio. 「宿泊した日はとても寒く、部屋のヒーターが２つもあってとても暖かく過ごせました。また、朝食もしっかりしたイングリッシュグレックファーストでよかった。駐車場の入り方がわかりにくいので、事前に確認をされた方がよいかもしれません。１階がバーなのでこの次に泊まるときは、営業時間中に到着したいと思いました。」

「Room was clean comfy bed . Staff very pleasant. Good breakfast nice bar area and sitting outside . Good position to travel around not far from places . 3rd stay great little get away excellent value」

「The room was very warm and small but adequate. Great shower. The property manger was very nice. The food in the restaurant had a diverse and unusual choices and tasted excellent. Overall the building needs some tlc as most walls and doors looked scruffy and marked. The recent restaurant additional looks very nice and smart.」

「Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Kettle and coffee machine with good supply of tea, coffee and fresh milk. Staff friendly and efficient. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. Lovely location for a walking break - we appreciated use of the pub car park before check-in/after check-out. Would stay here again in future.」
