Great accommodation.

Easy and efficient check in. Very comfortable and well stocked bedroom and bathroom. Plenty of choice on the menu's and always well presented with good sized portions and excellent quality.

Lovely hotel, we were at a family party nearby. The hotel bar area is excellent and well priced. All of the staff from check in to bar and breakfast servers were excellent. The continental breakfast is a great start to the day, the full English breakfast also looked great. This was our second stay and we will be back.

Stayed here several times now. Staff have always been super friendly and the rooms are good despite being a little dated. The bar is very friendly, food is good and the hotel is conveniently located for the town centre and railway station. Highly recommended.

We love staying at the Lion, the staff are so lovely, the rooms are fab, breakfast is a brilliant continental with the option to upgrade to a hot breakfast, parking is onsite which is so convenient. We can’t wait to stay again.
