Find Matlock Bed And Breakfast

"Nice and easy to find, greeted by friendly helpful staff, our room was ok just needs painting lots of marks around the walls, bathroom was clean. Downstairs around the bar was nice, served a good pint of Guinness. We booked a treatment in the spa section of the hotel along with afternoon tea, very good price for what you get, wouldnt say its a spa you would be pleased to take a bunch of you to relax, hottub was ok, sauna and steam room are past their best, the one bonus is, if your brave you can take advantage of a swim in the famous matlock lido, that was an amazing experience , bloody cold but glad we had a go. I would probably stay there again as its in a great location as a base if you want to visit the peaks."

"Do not stay! Room dirty, broken furniture, full of cobwebs and mould. No housekeeping during stay to replenish cups, tea, milk etc. Contacted the property to request a reimbursement before posting a negative comment. But no response from owners. "

"As soon as we arrived we were greated by a member of staff who booked us in and showed us to our room. The room is beautiful and has fridge bar and lots of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Everything is very clean and room is checked each day, making sure you have everything you need. also the room was quiet and relaxing and the bed is really comfortable. You can choose a time that suitsThe bathroom is lovely and spacious with shower wash etc. also the room was quiet and relaxing You can choose a time that suits you for breakfast before 11am. Breakfast was amazing. You can choose any coffee from the menu and then you are brought a tray with cereals, fruit, yoghurt, pastries and jugs of orange and apple juice. You can then choose anything from the hot food. Everything was very tasty and we were offered more hot drinks. All the servers were polite and friendly and made our stay even more enjoyable. Will definitely be back."

"Really lovely stay. The room was spotless and exactly as we expected. Twin room with en suite shower and bath, situated above a tea room in Bonsall (approx. 5 minute drive from Matlock Bath). Decor was fresh and clean, bed warm and comfy and clothes storage more than adequate. Hospitality tray with hot drinks and biscuits and a selection of toiletries. The breakfast was outstanding. Amazing find and would highly recommend and definitely return."
