「A nice travellers rest inn, we had a very spacious ground floor room with an equally spacious ensuite, the room was a little noisy early evening, but was generally quiet overnight. Well located in the centre of Bakewell close to all the town has to offer. The adjoining pub has a great atmosphere with excellent food and drinks. 「This is not a 4star hotel as described, it’s just a tired old pub that has some accommodation. The ‘deluxe’room that we had booked had stained carpets,sofa and cushions and was very basic. The two small bath towels and one hand towel provided were frayed. The menu is very basic in the pub. I had a pizza that was inedible as it tasted mouldy and looked horrible.
