「The room and bathroom were large and very clean. Staff were helpful and the evening meal in the restaurant had a good menu and was very tasty though a bit expensive.
Only an overnight stay, but very enjoyable. We didn’t use the spa or gym. I expect we will use the hotel again.」

「A nice stay overall but everything is a bit dated
Limited help from some staff, training could be better our welcome wasn't great.
Went in the gym, water dispenser broken, TV remote didn't work, 1 treadmill broken 1 working, cross trainer broken otherwise ok
The suite I booked wasn't a suite it was a cottage away from the hall and facilities didn't really feel part of it. facilities were ok and very spacious but I would have taken a normal room in the hall if I'd known
I'd say 3* was enough for...
