I've had an excellent one night stay at the Wildes hotel in Derbyshire every thing was good from the warm comfy room lovely shower and an excellent breakfast could not find fault with anything that was there

Nice hotel with good facilities. Very friendly staff. A few minor problems with things in the room when we arrived but very quickly resolved. On the minus side, such a shame that there is a £10 charge to use the gym! Also no breakfast available on our second morning due to low hotel occupancy (but we did receive a £10 each refund)!

I love staying at Wildes Chesterfield, the staff are fantastic and can’t do enough to make sure my stay is wonderful. I admire Liam, one of the managers, he works hard to ensure that everything is just as it should be and he remembers people and their needs. My room was very clean, the pillows and bed were so comfy, it was lovely and warm in my room. The breakfast is fantastic. When I stay at Wildes I get a chance to rest and relax in a beautiful room and I love it. Thank you to Liam and his well lead team of kind, friendly and helpful staff.

Great experience from start to finish. Restaurant is amazing and worth a trip. Rooms were clean and amazingly done! Even with a disturbance in the early hours from another guest the hotel dealt with it quickly and efficiently once raised. Definitely recommend.

Parking had easy and safe access. Staff very friendly. The only down side was the pricing of drinks from the bar. The pricing of the drinks were exorbitant. The hotel and rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated.

Room was very clean with a big comfy bed, we did have a leak in the ceiling which left us with a small damp patch on the quilt when we got back to the room at night. Breakfast was lovely!!

This is our second visit to this hotel and once again the staff in reception, bar and dining were excellent. All the public areas are welcoming and modern. Breakfast was very good too with lots of choices. Only small issue was our room, which although a good size, comfortable bed etc it didn’t appear to have been hoovered and there was a couple of small issues with the bathroom cleaning. As others have mentioned the bar prices seem quite high on certain things. While we are prepared to pay extra for lovely surroundings and service, we do feel £16.00 for a large glass of wine is a bit expensive. Offers on mid day dining were very good and food and service excellent. We wouldn’t let the small cleaning issue put us off returning as it was possibly a ‘one off’ incident.

Lovely, next time I'll change rooms!

Had a great stay, room service was great and clean and comfortable. The only downside I had in room 126 was that you could hear the gym, treadmill, dropping weights etc woke me up very early. Would stay again but would ask to be as far away from the gym as possible.
