Tokyo (TYO) to Venice (VCE)
9.8/10 Exceptional! (264 reviews)
The hotel is in a great location, right across the canal from the Guglie stop of the Alilaguna public water taxi. Just a short walk over the footbridge. We were an easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and about a 20 minute walk to Saint Mark Square.
The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. My only observation is that they weren’t that helpful recommending restaurants. Otherwise our stay was delightful. The breakfast, which was included, was top-notch. The hotel itself is grand and well worth it. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel is closed when we arrived ! Apparently the hotel is been closed for more than 10 days ! Despite the fact that we were notified first by Expedia group but the hotel it self sent me a msg 2 days before coming to it confirming my reservation with them ! Very weird! Is this a scam??? Why hotel would send a confirmation of reservation since it’s closed !

Beautiful hotel, excellent staff, quiet location. Highly recommend! Only suggestion: floor in the shower is very slippery and needs some adaptation to reduce fall risk.
