Heart of England Pet-friendly Vacations

Great room size with air conditioning and large bathroom. We loved the neighborhood, with a short walk to the South Kensington metro station as well as many great restaurants. It would have been nice to have access to a microwave oven.

My son and I stayed the Templeton Garden for four nights. We received small but adequate room. Unfortunately, there were many, many stains on the carpet, and an unsatisfactory amount of scuffs and dirt on the walls. In the hotel description the room was supposed to have a refrigerator. What the room really had was a box that looked like a refrigerator, but did not have a cold temperature setting. Interestingly, there were multiple items for you to purchase from the non-refrigerator box, including a German sparkling wine that needed to be refrigerated. When I inquired the first time they told me that they would look into why it wasn’t working, and send someone up. That didn’t happen! The next time that I called, they said that it was just a box for storage not a refrigerator. At this point, I was extremely irritated, because after doing tours in London all day and it was 80+ degrees, it would have been nice to come back to a refrigerator with a cold water or Coke zero. The staff gave me the runaround about it on a regular basis. The description from Expedia is inaccurate, and had I known that in advance I would’ve never chosen Templeton Garden. There are dozens of hotels within a 5 to 10 minute walk of this property, go elsewhere, because what is in the description is not what you get.

Overall very clean and great location. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. I would only ask for a daily towel change to be available. We were a couple, so having only one towel each for two summer night's was less than luxury. Everything else was perfect!

A delightful hotel, way above usual London standards in the price range. The location is exceptional: an elegant row of Regency townhouses backing onto the British Museum.

Amazing property across all fronts. Room was luxurious and comfortable. Gym and spa were better than the one I pay a monthly membership to back home.

All good except the temperature is high in rooms

The highlight is very good breakfast included in the room rate and very central location! I was travelling alone for work, got upgraded to a family room that is spacious. I’d book again when travelling with my family
