Modern and spacious bathrooms, clean, great front desk service. Excellent location in a peaceful part of town.

The property is awesome. But the room was extremely small. This may be a feature of hotels in the center of London, but still this is good to know. The bathroom was ridiculously and impractically cramped.

Next to Hyde Park, Royal Albert Hall and Kensington Palace, easily walkable to Harrods. Spotless, great staff, bus stop outside, big comfy bed. Ticked my boxes

I highly recommend this hotel. The location was great; right next to Trafalgar Square! The room was well equipped, cool and quiet. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was clean and well appointed. Will definitely return!

Great location, clean room & bathroom!

Checking in was confusing as I'd done an online check in the day before but when we got there I had to go through normal check-in Room had everything we needed but bathroom very tiny and for people who are carrying a bit of weight may struggle to manoeuvre around it. Bed was super comfy, so 10 out of 10 for that. Staff very friendly. In the morning then lift was out of service which wasn't great as we were on the 3rd floor and had to walk down several flights of stairs. Anyone with mobility problems would have struggled with this. We liked where the hotel was situated pretty building and lovely reception area. The TV in our twin room was opposite one of the beds so not ideal place for the other person trying to watch from the other bed. Great for a night away but for the price of the tiny twin room it seemed a lot of money so although we loved the area not sure we would stay there again.

Negatives - room was advertised as on Ground Floor but was actually down stairs in the basement area where the view out of the window was a brick wall a few feet away. - bathroom was not very clean. The bath itself had a jacuzzi function but each of the water jet ports had 'run stains' around them and generally looked a bit grotty. There were also signs of black mould above the shower head and under the wash basin. - the shower head could not be adjusted meaning you had to stand at the far end of the bath tub to get wet which resulted in water going all over the bathroom floor. - when packing to leave we checked under the bed to make sure we hadn't left anything only to find a can of deodorant from a previous occupant which suggests the room had not been that thoroughly prepared or cleaned prior to our arrival. - all in all decor very tired and needs refurbishment Plusses - - Four poster bed was clean and very comfy - location. Very short walk to the Underground and only 10-15 minutes walk to Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, Portabello Road/Market etc. - very friendly and helpful staff.
