"I've stayed in Premier Inns before, such as one in London in the Blackfriars area and the one at Heathrow. Both of them were good, clean hotels. But this one in Reading was a major disappointment. The room was dingy, there were stains on the carpet and the bathroom floor was sticky. floors. The towels smelled. The worse was when I turned on the water in the shower and discovered that the water wasn't draining and what's worse, particles of debris (that strangely looked like wood chips) came out of the drain and were floating around in the water that refused to go down the drain. One final note: beware of the taxi company that has a contract with this hotel. I had an incompetent driver who couldn't figure out where my destination was. I also could not see a meter anywhere on his dashboard, which I believe is a licensing offence. "
