"I’ve stayed at The Orleans Hotel and Casino many times over the years and regularly choose it for family trips, often booking 2–4 rooms for a full week. We love that it offers something for everyone—adults can enjoy themselves while the kids look forward to swimming and activities. Unfortunately, this most recent stay was very disappointing. The pool was closed due to renovations, and we were not informed in advance. Since pool access is one of our main reasons for booking, this significantly impacted our trip. Had we known, we would have planned around the renovations or chosen another hotel. Without access to key amenities, it felt like we overpaid for our stay. Additionally, one of our rooms had stained bed sheets upon arrival, and we had to contact housekeeping for replacements, which added to the frustration and inconvenience after a long day of travel. Being charged a resort fee while the pool was unavailable felt unreasonable, as a major amenity we expected was not accessible. We’ve always considered this hotel a reliable 4-star option for our family, but this visit felt more like a 2-star experience due to the lack of communication and reduced quality. Because of this, we are now seriously reconsidering whether we’ll return next year."

"Decent, spacious and functional. Dated but totally fine decor. The tap needs fixing in the bathroom and we did appreciate the fully equp kitchen and got an extra frying pan. Could use more frequent housekeeping and when the maids come it seems hit and miss. Some better than others "

"Make sure you plan for everything on your trip. We stayed 2 night 3 days and realized that we needed an extra day to do the things we wanted to do. Adding a day through Expedia was going to cost an extra fee and another night stay and trying to add a night through the hotel was not possible. Staff were really nice just wish they would’ve helped us add another day. Wish there were more restaurants on property. Other than that the room was spacious and clean. "
