"This is a beautiful hotel full of character. It is right on the Royal Mile, close to the castle & so many pubs & restaurants. Because this is an older building that’s been refurbished, and the part of the building our apartment was in, it was quite a walk with many stairs (there is one lift) & you could easily get lost. "Super nice staff. We wanted to enter the bar at night with the kids but due to licensing issue, no kids are allowed unless ordering full meals. We were full so didn’t need meals and the manager gladly found a table in another dining area of the hotel and provided services for us. Very convenient location right next to the train station. You can basically walk everywhere, to the castle or to the hill. Loved our stay and would definitely stay again!"
