Wonderful Stay!

Excellent hotel, my only complaint would be the Peninsula food service. We ate at the Shanghai Terrace our first night on site and honestly the food was only 2 stars. Specifically the appetizers were minuscule, and 90% pastry dough. Whatever filling was supposed to be inside all the dough largely wasn’t. We chose this hotel last minute and we were nervous because there were a couple recent negative reviews. There were 4 of us in our family and couldn't find anything negative to say about the hotel. It was great!

Hotel is well appointed with beautiful rooms and an elegant, luxurious bathroom. The staff was helpful and the hotel is in the middle of the best shopping abd restaurants in Chicago! Wull definitely be my "go to" hotel in Chitown!

Amazing! Impressed with how warm and friendly everyone was, staff and residents included!

Fun vibe! Great location laid back yet classy.

It was okay but, I wish they specified the clearance level for the self parking if we would of have know ahead of time we would of brought our smaller car

Our experience at this hotel was marvelous. So much attention to the history of the building, and the staff all shared a real appreciation and love for the place. I felt like I was in Europe, where everything matters, not just how things LOOK. From the old tiles, to the glass panels, the filagree on the iron railings, the furnishings, it was just all so quiet, clean and relaxed, with great choices for places to it right in house. I would not want to stay anywhere else in Chicago! The only...

Relaxing

Staff were incredibly polite, helpful and patient. If I decide to go to the con in the area again I will choose this hotel in a heartbeat!!! Extremely good hotel for the price I had paid, comfortable and clean rooms. When checking out alone a staff member let me know I was welcome to ask for help and when asked sided me in carrying my luggage from my room to the area to check out. Kind staff helped me get a dolly to load everything into my rides car. Overall, for my first time ever booking and...
