"What a scam for $350+ a night. Our first room was disgusting; it looked like there was crusty throw up on the carpet and the bathroom was not clean and there was dust everywhere. You don’t even get a microwave in your room. The bathroom is so small. The furniture in the room is so dated and stained. Called the front desk for another pillow and they yelled at me and then hung up, and never brought the pillow. When I called back they’d pick up and hang up. Not a good hotel, way overpriced, understaffed (I felt bad for the employees it’s not their fault), and just not a good experience overall."

"Hotel is good overall. The bar/restaurant was misleading in that the website advertised food (smoothies) that wasn't actually available. Staff was helpful in bringing requested additional hangers for the closet. They responded to our report that I broke a toe running into the tile fireplace hearth (didn't remember/see the raised tile when room was darker in the morning). The fireplace hearth tile is a hazard that should be addressed asap. The hotel is in a good location, easy walk to coffee, breakfast and not too far from the city center. Property is a little dated and worn but has charm."

"We had requested for a 2pm checking but they gave us the room at 4pm and the normal checkin time is 3pm. Also the next day they did nit clean the room and we had requested that the beds and bathroom needs to be cleaned. They cleaned the room but left. Soaking wet towel on the bed. Little disappointed with our stay."

"This property exceeded our expectations in nearly every way. The space itself was excellent, well-appointed, comfortable, and exactly as described. But the real star was the location. So much is within easy walking distance that you'll find yourself leaving the car (or the metro) behind entirely and just exploring on foot. It made for an incredibly immersive experience.One practical note: the unit is on the third floor with stairs, so if you or anyone in your group has mobility concerns or is traveling with heavy luggage, it's worth planning ahead. It wasn't a problem for us, but it's the kind of thing you appreciate knowing in advance.Overall, a fantastic stay. We'd book again without hesitation and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great base with an unbeatable location."

"Our group of 21 had a great time staying at this property. There was plenty of space for everyone, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The host was easy to reach and communicate with. Location is perfect as well for doing all the Chicago things. If we ever came back with such a large group I would not hesitate to stay here again!"
