We were there for a Bachelorette party and the hotel was at a great location for it! We could walk to so many nice restaurants and shops! The hotel staff was super friendly as well!
This hotel was the literal best. Their staff was so kind and everything was lovely. I had the best birthday weekend and so glad we stayed here. Thank you, Talbott! I’ll be back for sure.
Nice smallish, comfortable, downtown hotel. Well placed for access to Chicago assets.
(Only 2 elevators, one didn't work).

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
We enjoyed our stay at the Talbott. From check-in to check-out, the staff was pleasant and welcoming. We were upgraded to a king suite with a city view and appreciated the spaciousness and quality of our room. The only small things that could use improvement were that the heater in our bathroom did not blow heated air, only a fan that blew cool air, and our bathroom door was warped so it didn’t close easily. Otherwise, the room was spotless and comfortable. The location of the hotel was convenient as well, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants.

Disliked: Staff & service
The room wasn't ready at the appropriate time. The check-in line was so very long and people weren't happy. Limited staff to take care of guests. Not enough cleaning staff since quite a large number of people were asked to wait for rooms to be ready and no clear answer as to when rooms would be ready. Room was basic (it had a view of the building mechanicals) and the toilet backed up (however, it was taken care of quickly). The restaurant staff and food were very good and the only bright spot at this hotel. All in all, meh. Too costly for what it is.
