Close to numerous train and bus options and lots of attractions and dining as well. This was my first stay at a hostel and it was an overall highly positive experience. I opted for a women's en suite, which was 6 beds and a private bathroom. The bathroom had separate doors for the shower and toilet, making the facilities accessible. The en suite was the best of both worlds - sharing a space and meeting new people, but not as large as one of the bigger sleeping areas.
The communal areas for dining, leisure, and activities were spacious.
Hostel guests were a wide range of ages and backgrounds. I met lots of interesting people but also had enough space to have time to myself when I needed it. Had I known about all of the activities available at the hostel, I would have better planned my trip around some of them.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast and coffee was very basic but a helpful way to start the day. I met the most people at breakfast.
I loved that the facilities had water bottle refill stations, hand sanitizer stations, and both recycling and waste receptacles everywhere. There were also a variety of vending machines in multiple locations.
I had an interesting and unique experience and would definitely stay there again.
