"The room was very quiet and the bed very comfortable. Couldn’t ask for more. If you want a great bar and restaurant, this is not the place. The front desk staff double as the restaurant staff and bar tender, who did not know how to use a cork screw. I had to open the bottle do him. Not their fault, just unqualified. The location is perfect for being close to many great restaurants and bars. AC was fine and quiet, water pressure was so so. Temp was fine. Staff was very friendly and attentive. "

"Prime location, breakfast is amazing. Very clean and well kept hotel. Would definitely recomend for business, leisure and family trips. Our room had 2 king beds joined together which was very convenient if traveling with young kids, great idea! Without a doubt will return."

"My wife suprised me for my 65th bday. She was really trying to go all out. The room itself was very disappointing, it had a connecting room where the man yelled ever night about 3:00am. The bed had a dip causing my wife to roll into me during the night. The bed was so close to the wooded cabinet located at the foot of bed I had to climb across the bottom of the bed to get in or out. The bathroom was beautiful at first glance but I begain to see the cracking paint peeling off the wall and I believe there was mole growing on the shower shelf. And the soap dispenser in the shower ran out. The room was tiny, it could have been organized better and I did not see it in any of the hotel pictures. My wife paid way to much for the worst room ever. We had a better stay at the Wingate by Wyndham for a lot less. We really deserve a refund and a apology. The room just felt like this is were we put people of color. We were on the 11th floor next to the elevator which we could hear at night."

"Clean room with all basic amenities and good staff. Coffee is available 24/7. Close to the CTA bus which can take to to the good spots within 10-20mins. Breakfast was standard as all other Sonesta hotels have everyday. Can improve in variety. Also the staff provided the wrong time for the Friday breakfast resulting us to miss it on our first day."

I call it my home away from home and I stay there frequently when visiting our children! Spectacular views, inviting atmosphere and stay second to none! Special shout out to Alejandro at the breakfast buffet! He was exceptionally kind to me and our family! This hotel will always be my first choice when visiting Chicago!
