"The hotel was amazing - good clean room, comfortable bed, private onsen - and the breakfast was a delightful addition. It's a healthy hike up the hill to the rest of the town of Gora, but they do offer a shuttle to the train station that cut down on the hike."

Buses to Tokyo less then 1 minute walk away. Highly recommend."

"Amazing location near Lake Kawaguchiko. Beautiful hotel, very spacious room and excellent service. Shuttle bus to Kawaguchiko station very convenient. Only negative was room was slightly dated and cleanliness could have been improved. There were some stains on tables and hairs in shower and on floor when we arrived. Overall, would recommend."

"Beautiful location with stunning view of Mount Fuji. It's quiet and tranquil with lovely walks alongside the lake. It is a bit of a way to Kawaguchiko station where all the sightseeing buses start and end but the hotel has a free shuttle there and it's super busy in the town so it's great to come back to the peace and tranquility. Book in advance for the hotel restaurant."

We chose the cable cars to get there which was a fantastic way of exploring the area from above, but the hotel’s shuttle was super convenient for our departure. "
