"Staff was amazing and so helpful. Our room was clean and the meals were excellent. The location is also excellent - perfect for boarding the pirate sightseeing cruise and the bus stop is across the street. Quiet and lovely!"

"The hotel facilities are very traditional and well kept, our room was amazing from the awesome lake view to the nice tatami floors. The staff was very helpful and they provided support in both Japanese and English with ease. The kaiseki style dinner is a must, as it is an entire experience of delicious and elevated Japanese dishes with Western influences, we were left satisfied physically and mentally. Please remember that you need to book the kaiseki with the half-board additional option if your stay is short, in our case we only stayed one night and we had to add it. Even if you stay for one night you can enjoy the different onsen options they have available which is one of the key assets, just get in your yukatas relax and enjoy."
