"The room was spotless, spacious, with a purified water machine. The shower had a rainfall showerhead and also worked as a steam room. The restaurant and bar were great for when we didn’t want to find another spot to eat! Great fitness center as well, however we didn’t have time to utilize as we were out exploring for our whole stay. I didn’t see a lot of spots nearby like food, shops, but worth it for how nice the space was!"

"We really loved our stay at the Blossom, it was one of the nicest hotels on our whole trip to Japan. We wish we could have used the public bath but they do not allow people with visible tattoos in it. Overall it was still worth it, as it is conveniently located, just a few train stops away from to main attractions like Nishiki Market, Pontocho Alley, and direct bus to Higashiyama and Gion."

"Rooms were kept in the best shape with all the modern conveniences you could ask for. Showers had great water pressure! Morning breakfast was wonderful with good variety of both Japanese and Western tastes. Staff were very professional and helpful. They helped when we didn't speak the best of Japanese when we stumbled over our pronunciation. There was a good mix of travelers passing through from all over. The train museum is just steps from the hotel, there's a Family Mart on the first floor and JR Train station also just steps away. It was 1 stop from Kyoto station so there is no reason to stay anywhere else with such a convenient location. "
