「good hotel ,good staff and clean room. Comfortable and clean room. But the island's most beautiful beaches and attractions are on the north side, and the location of this hotel on the south side was a bit inconvenient.」

「Wonderful family stay at Casa Azul Maya! We did have a ground floor room which was a bit more humid - but the AC kept it cool and it was fine for all of us. Beds were comfortable, staff helpful and room was cleaned everyday with fresh bath and beach towels as needed. The partnership with Loretta’s was perfect; amazing breakfasts, access to pool and ocean were picturesque. South side of the island is much calmer and slower pace -with great food, coffee and Punta Sur—- we’d come back in a heart...

「The facility was great. Perhaps not a comparison with the best ones in hotel zones, but very quiet and refreshing and hospitality was great as well. Golf carts rental is not available near the hotel, so remember to rent one when arrived in the island if you plan to do so later. Will surely wish to stay again in the future. 」

「The locations and vibe is amazing. It’s a perfect spot to relax. The food is limited there are three restaurants on the property and a food truck but it felt like we had ample options and they’re very accommodating. Would totally recommend for a relaxing getaway. 」

「We knew this wasn’t typical all-inclusive hotel, but the meal service kept changing during our stay. First, breakfast was a buffet, then it switched to a menu. One day the service was perfect, the next day it wasn’t. We couldn’t use the beach because of the large amount of seaweed. The rooftop pool is for adults only. The kids couldn’t enjoy the view. Our vacation wasn’t bad, it was just good.」

「While the room itself was nice....the location is terrible. There is a view of the ocean, but it's across the street...so it's an ocean view but not ocean front. There is a gas station right beside the room...constant lines of traffic. there is a speed bump right in front, so all vehicles slow down. Two bright street lights shining into the room all night. I would certainly not recommend and def would not stay there again.」

「This is a basic hotel. The rooms are a bit outdated, but the staff is nice. The pool is small with only four lounge chairs. You will need to walk to get to the beach - this hotel has a dock only. 」

「The view was worth it」

「Staff at the property were lovely! You sort of get what you pay for, it’s nice they’ve made the effort to modernise the property but you can tell it’s still a little worn. But as mentioned you get what you pay for. One down side was the water ran really low on our last night, only to wake up the following morning with the toilet not flushing and no water coming out of any taps. I had to use a water bottle to get water out of the pool so the toilet would flush. 」

「We had a wonderful 9-night stay at Bartolome Oceanfront Suites, and we wouldn't change a thing!!! We were always out on our balcony with coffee in the morning, and we often enjoyed magnificent sunsets there in the evening. The Staff were delightful and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect!!!! Special shout-out to Ricardo and Carenya (?) 🥰 They have a wonderful restaurant, but most of the time, we opted to explore the many options well within walking distance. We loved the energy of...
