We went without tap water, shower and toilet water in our room for over 12 hours. I didn't book a vacation to be in a hotel without water for bathing or being able to use the washroom. The hotel offered nothing in return for this major impact to our vacation. The were no communication or updates from the hotel, no additional compensation of any kind was offered. Not being able to provide a life necessity is unacceptable and is not what I spent thousands of dollars for. The way the hotel just ignored the issue shows how little Planet Hollywood really cares about its guests. What was a good vacation up to the point of no water isn't enough to change the experience. Not knowing if we would have water at any point is something I should not have to be worrying about but spent the rest of my vacation worrying about daily. Talking with other guests some went 3 days without water and this issue is a reoccurring issue as other guests who have visited before said it happens every year. If you don't care to have running water in your room then this is the perfect hotel for you. Another issue is the lack of pool chairs, you must wake up a 4 am to be able to save yourself a chair. Food was good for the most part but restaurants can't sit more than a group of six and we had a group of 10. I really wanted to say the hotel was great but the water issue is just to big of a reoccurring problem that obviously they don't fix. Because of this my rating is low.

This is truly a 5-star experience and Planet Hollywood did an amazing job. Our butler, Yomelly made the trip extra special and did everything for us, from reservations at the great restaurants on site to cabanas and all the other experiences on site. I truly recommend getting Star Class it made the entire trip more enjoyable. Rooms were very clean, staff was amazing, entire trip was really good. The only downside was that they had some water issues on the trip (for a few hours we didn't have hot water or cold water due to a pipe issue); but, they fixed it right away.

Property was in good condition, food was fantastic, entertainment was plentiful! Drinks were great, service was mostly good, but felt like alot of the "check-in's" were just upsell opportunities. Not having water the last 2 days and no hot water multiple days put a damper to it.

We had two of our 4 day stay where we had NO hot water. So cold showers on vacation. I am ver frustrated about paying for something we didn’t receive. Dana and David our Expedia concierge’s were good and helped a lot. I asked the hotel to help with resolving my concerns because I paid for something we didn’t get. He said Expedia had to refund not the hotel. Someone owes me a refund as 4 cold showers was very unpleasant. Morning and evening after beach and before dinner. I asked for manager and told he was unavailable

We recently stayed at Planet Hollywood Cancun Adults Only and overall, I would describe the experience as mixed — some highlights, some frustrations, and definitely room for improvement. Let’s start with the positives. The beach is absolutely beautiful, and the grounds are truly immaculate. The landscaping is pristine and very well maintained — the property itself is visually stunning and gives you that luxury vacation feel the moment you arrive. We booked through Expedia and were assigned a host and hostess — David and Dana — and they were tremendous. They were attentive, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. They truly elevated the experience and made things much smoother for us. The housekeeping staff also deserves recognition. Our room was consistently very clean, and the maids did an excellent job every day. Now for the average. The restaurant options are plentiful and the variety is good, but the quality and service were inconsistent. We had excellent meals at the Indian restaurant and the Brazilian steakhouse — both were highlights. However, the Italian, Teppanyaki, seafood, and Mexican restaurants were hit-or-miss in both service and food quality. Surprisingly, the Mexican restaurant was the most disappointing. Given the location, we expected it to shine, but it felt underwhelming — closer to fast-food style Mexican than authentic cuisine. As for the negatives. The buffet was unfortunately chaotic. Long lines, picked-over food, and below-averag

Staff was great. The property managers need to work on the upkeep of most of the amenities. The hot tubs did not work in the star class or the regular pool on the adult side. The basketball goals were broken. Also, there was a lot of of food and items left outside for several days during our trip that was never picked up by the staff. Aesthetically it doesn’t look good. If it wasn’t for our Expedia concierge, I would have given less stars . The Expedia concierge was the best part of our stay.

Place was very clean, staff we lovely. Lots of food options and snacks. We were pleasantly surprised to get upgraded to star class which allowed us an additional pool and restaurants. We had our favourite bar tender Louie (his name tag was MIA so not sure it in spelling it correctly) who worked in the premiere bar & lounge, he was so funny and always remembered our drink orders! We had a swim out in our room and it was worth the upgrade, so nice and refreshing! We will be back again for sure!

I was disappointed with my stay overall, especially given the expectations for this resort. Despite staying on the adults-only side, there were children present, and I could hear kids throughout the night and early mornings, which defeated the purpose of booking that section. One of the biggest issues was a 12-hour period without running water in our room. This made it impossible to shower or use basic amenities and significantly impacted our stay. No meaningful resolution or follow-up was provided. For New Year’s Eve, guests were heavily pushed to purchase additional dinner packages. Regular dinner restaurants and even the buffet were unavailable unless you paid extra, which felt inappropriate for an all-inclusive resort. Throughout the property, there were constant sales pitches for spa packages and excursions, with staff approaching us frequently, which made it difficult to relax. The restaurants were decent, but the buffet was below average. Drinks were consistently watered down. Overall, the experience did not match the price or the all-inclusive promise. I would not stay here again.

This was our 23rd visit to Mexico, and unfortunately the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at. We arrived on the 28th with All-Inclusive Adult Scene, but staff were rude and unhelpful from the start. We were told there were five restaurants available by reservation, yet after trying for several days, we couldn’t get a single reservation. The only people who helped us were those wearing purple tops (not hotel staff)—they were kind and professional. Thanks to them, we finally got a reservation at the Teppanyaki restaurant, which saved part of our trip. Special thanks to Erika (manager), Martin, Manuel, Chef Efrain, Willy (adult reception), Lidia, and Defanty—they showed what real hospitality should look like. On December 31st, I went to the children’s reception to express my frustration after three days of trying to book a restaurant. The staff member responded, “This is high season, you can’t expect any less.” His response made me cry. We spent $12,993 on this hotel and paid an additional $135 to upgrade the room, so this treatment was extremely disappointing. New Year’s Eve was also frustrating: special menus cost $69–$149 per person, and tables near the show were over $600, despite paying all-inclusive. One positive note: Sarahi, who serviced our room, was very kind and helpful. Save your time, your money, and the disappointment.
