"We had a great stay at Riu Las Americas. The grounds and our room were extremely clean. The room is a little dated, but everything was comfortable, and the hotel itself is beautiful. Great location with nice pools and crystal blue beaches, fairly close to the airport. Check in was a breeze, and all interactions with the staff were great. Excellent service, and plenty of tasty food options. There were quiet pool areas where you could relax and read a book, and more lively areas where you could listen to music and socialize. We had fun watching the live music. Easy to get a drink or find something to eat whenever you wanted. Recommend getting to the Steak House around 5:30, it is popular and fills up quick, all other restaurants we were able to walk right in. Transportation services went smoothly, just be sure to avoid everyone inside the airport, and go straight outside to find your ride (the people inside are trying to sell you something). The wifi was okay but not great, probably the only thing I could think of that wasn't great. Located near shops, and it felt like a safe area, never any concerns. We didn't want to leave, and look forward to returning. Shout out to Enrique who provided excellent poolside service all week. Thank you to everyone who made the trip such a fun experience!"

"Food was great. Friendly staff and nightly entertainment kept us with plenty of things to do. AC in the room provided temporary relief during hot days. The beach was probably the best we’ve ever experienced as the sand was prepped daily and we spent as much time in the ocean as we did in the pools. The buffet was fantastic and Italian restaurant had some of the best food we’ve ever eaten at a resort. It was spring break when we went do plenty of teens but everyone was well behaved and didn’t have any affect on our trip. "

"We had a great time and loved this resort. Great location. Loved being able to swim in ocean. Food was good as we were always able to find something to enjoy. The only negatives were the chair game was real here. Had to get up early to secure a good spot. Also, rooms were humid as all of our clothes constantly felt damp. Overall a great trip!"

"I brought my daughter here for her 2nd birthday and first I’ll say I do like the kiddie area and the slides that was fun for my daughter. But as far as the property the main pool area kids pool is dirty and molded and needed to be remodeled. The staff was horrible and they are racist to black people so please be aware. When making reservations at night they would tell us they have no buzzer but then give a buzzer to a Hispanic family 5 mins later and they did this multiple times and to other black people and then tell us it’s a 2 and 1/2 hour wait. Not a true all inclusive they charge $10 for room service and you can only get 1 appetizer 1 entree and a dessert. Unless you pay another $10 and order again. The food in the buffet runs out very fast and they don’t bring more out. My husband had a slip and fall in buffet area and ripped his pants doing the splits and had a swollen knee. They wouldn’t accommodate us. And lied and said they would upgrade our room and then when I went downstairs the manager said he didn’t know anything about it and couldn’t help us. I will never stay here again. BE AWARE!"

"Wasn’t too great The location was good, in hotel zone on the beach and near the clubs. but besides that not much. the bathroom didn’t even come with a rug to put at the bottom so the floor was always wet. The shower stopped putting out hot water at some point. There were no amenities given which is crazy for the price. the body lotion they gave was SO BAD IT REEKED AND SMELLED. had to wash it off right away. YOU could hear everything. from the hallways to the next door rooms. the walls are literally made of paper. didn’t go all inclusive and am glad cause it wouldn’t be as worth it compared to other hotels. not bad if you just want a cheap convenient location tho. and staff was kind no issues there. "

"Honestly best stay I’ve had at an all inclusive. Fun. Lots of other successful 20-30 somethings. Some older crowd. The pink party was a bit urban and pool dj could use some work. But really impressed overall. "
