「Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. Lovely bedroom decoration, nicely fitted out bathroom with a decent sized bath and rainfall...
「The trip we had was great, the hotel had beautiful grounds and magnificent rooms. What an idyllic location to sit with your loved one and I could not complement the food or the restaurant any more. Staff were helpful and could not do enough to help. Would absolutely visit again.」

It seems silly to say but the only issue we had was the tv! It had bbc1 but not 2, itv or channel 4. Very strange. Would still highly recommend 」
「Room was fantastic, spacious, clean, quiet (apart from a fire alarm but that probably doesn't happen very often) and customer service was exceptional. There was some work being done in the corridor but that did not impact our stay. We were meeting family and exploring the area and found it was close to the major roads. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of lovely food choices in the pub attached. I would recommend this hotel. 」

「There was lots of parking available. Check in was easy and the receptionist was very helpful in pointing out where our room could be found and where the spa could be accessed near our room. Having three single beds in one room is a really good idea for three adults to share - I went with my two daughters and none of us wanted to share a double bed so three singles in a room was exactly what we needed. 「Lovely nights stay at the Ashford Arms. Comfortable rooms and excellent restaurant serving fabulous food. Nice to have a breakfast menu as opposed to a buffet. Great location in quiet village close to Bakewell. Would stay again if back in Derbyshire.」
