"Clean and comfortable room for a short stay. Adequate breakfast. Good location in terms of walking down to the seafront. Would note for travellers with accessibility issues the hotel is at the top of a very steep road so may not be suitable for mobility aid users."

"A lovely hotel with many original features.
The dinner and breakfast were lovely, there was a nice selection of both.
The room was great and plenty of plugs to charge devices.
I liked the lounge/bar area with a wide selection of books and games available for patrons.
It's very well located for trips to Battle itself and Hastings.
Would very happily stay here again."

This Little inn above the pub was so charming. The room was fantastic, cozily decorated and had a big window. The weather was perfect, and we were able to have the window open. Caution with the window open, it can be a little noisy from the pub downstairs. But no worries on that. We enjoyed hearing folks having lots of fun! It's also conveniently located and easily walkable to the old town. And of course, gorgeous Beach.

A lovely little boutique hotel in the countryside near Hastings. Possibly a work in progress, the owners have been working tirelessly for several years to get it to the current state, but we were very happy with it.
We didn't try any of the food there, due to circumstances, but the afternoon teas looked wonderful!
Highly recommended, easy parking.
Just one thing to notice, if when you are approaching the entrance, if you are going uphill (southbound), be very vigilant because the sign is...

Nice property on the highway across from the beach. Rooms are small but functional. Staff is excellent. Highway is a bit noisy starting early in the morning, but this also would be a problem with most lodging facing the water in Hastings.
